Enter the FPS your chronograph reads and the BB you play with to see the energy, and how fast you can go under your site's limit.
| BB weight | Highest FPS under 1.14 J | Speed |
|---|---|---|
| 0.20 g | 350 FPS | 107 m/s |
| 0.23 g | 326 FPS | 99 m/s |
| 0.25 g | 313 FPS | 95 m/s |
| 0.28 g | 296 FPS | 90 m/s |
| 0.30 g | 286 FPS | 87 m/s |
| 0.32 g | 276 FPS | 84 m/s |
Energy = ½ · mass · velocity². At the same FPS, double the BB weight and you double the joules. 1.14 J is a common AEG limit, but sites set their own rules, so always check yours.
