Brighter R is a compact aluminium tracer unit, 57 × 28 mm and 33.2 g, that lights red tracer BBs as well as green ones. It fits a 14 mm counter-clockwise thread, an 11 mm clockwise thread with its adaptor, or goes inside a mock suppressor, and switches on when you shake the gun.

Light It

Lights red and green

Most compact tracers only light green tracer BBs. Brighter R lights red tracer BBs too, with no switch to set: load either colour and it lights every shot, up to 35 a second. ACETECH rates red tracer BBs up to 35 rounds per second in full auto.

Brighter R does not light standard or gel BBs: use red or green tracer BBs.

Will it fit your gun?

Brighter R fits a 14 mm counter-clockwise thread directly, an 11 mm clockwise thread with the included adaptor, or goes inside a mock suppressor.

Check the barrel

The inner barrel must stick out less than 10 mm past the end of the thread. Longer, and it covers the Brighter R sensor.

Charge it

Turn the lid anticlockwise and charge Brighter R over USB-C. The first time, charge at least 3 hours.

Close the lid

Lock the lid back by turning it clockwise and Brighter R switches on.

Fit it

Fit it on your 14 mm CCW thread, on an 11 mm CW thread with the adaptor, or put it inside a mock suppressor.

Run It

Shake it awake

Brighter R has no switch: shake the gun and it wakes with a short beep, and after 5 minutes without movement it sleeps. It charges over USB-C, and its light shows how full the battery is.
