ACEHIVE is ACETECH's 40 mm shower grenade: fill it with green gas in 3 to 5 seconds, load it and fire 80 BBs in one shot from a 40 mm grenade launcher. The Spawner loader refills its clear magazine in about a second, and through the clear tubes you see at a glance whether a grenade is loaded.

Load It

From empty to fired

The steps from the ACEHIVE manual. Gas first, then the BBs: the Spawner fills all 10 tubes in one twist.

  1. Reset the primer. Check that the primer (the end valve on the base) is reset before you fill gas.
  2. Fill the gas. Hold the green gas nozzle vertical on the filling nozzle at the top for 3 to 5 seconds.
  3. Open the block. Make sure the block O-ring is open: the block button returns it to the open position.
  4. Fill the Spawner. Pour BBs into the Spawner. A general loader works too, 8 BBs per tube.
  5. Twist it on. Fit the Spawner on the grenade, hold down its button and rotate clockwise: 10 tubes fill with 80 BBs.
  6. Press the block button. Press the block button once and check the block O-ring is closed. The grenade is ready.
  7. Fire. Load it into your 40 mm launcher and pull the trigger quickly, not gently or slowly: all 80 BBs in one shot.
Gas It

Green gas only

ACEHIVE runs on green gas at 8–9 bar (115–135 PSI) or less, and works between -5 and 40 °C. Fill it only when you use it, and release the gas afterwards.

  • Store it with the block O-ring open

  • Replace the O-rings · every three months

  • Check it looks right and holds gas · before use
